Projecting rim flat on top; the shape a small version of pithoi such as 1506 and 1507. Cooking ware. Around the neck a roughly incised branch pattern.

Incised decoration is very uncommon on cooking-ware pots after the end of the 7th century; this piece comes from a transitional deposit, containing other material earlier than 600.
