| Description: | Lower part of Tholos antefix and much of the carrying tile remain; the whole restored in plaster on the model of A 865 (Ζ 1541). The tile is large and flat, expanding rapidly toward the back , channeled on the underside to fit over its neighbors. On its top are rude transverse scratchings. The face of the antefix in its lower part is decorated with a small central and two small lateral palmettes connected by scrolls, in red figures technique, details in added purple. Purple covers the edges of the antefix and a band across the bottom of its face. The tile is of buff clay, surfaced with yellow. | |
