Description:   Mended from many fragments and restored in plaster.
Projecting rim turned down on one side of wellhead, flat on other. Two circular hand-holes below rim, then three ridges. Glazed, slightly raised band around bottom of side wall.
Clay brown to dark gray.

Cf. P 8887 (ΗΗ 309), a well head from well in section ΗΗ at 51/ΛΖ.
Context:   Well: main mass of fill (and bottom?).
