Image: 2003.01.0099: Marble workers outside Stoa of Eumenes. Since the second World War, Professor A. Orlandos has been working on the restoration of the interior of the Odeion of Herodes. The stage-front and orchestra floor have been rebuilt and the broken seats are gradually being pieced out with new marble. The man on the left is shaping a rough block into a seat.
